by the river to pray

Donielle knew I was having a hard week, so she brought me coffee and a cupcake and dragged me out on a walk by the river. We stopped at one of my favorite spots, the ledge that looks over the river, and we sang hymns and prayed and talked about Jesus and the things close to our hearts.

I don't know why we don't take time to breathe in God more often.
