I turned 22. I was so excited, the same as a child, that I woke up early and went out praying at sunrise. I ended up at the river landing. It was the most magnificent feeling, being in the midst of God's creation in all of its glory.

Before We Go

There is a list of things that Karleigh and I want to do before I leave for London in late June. Going to Congaree National Forest has been on that list for three years, so we decided to do it on the day between our birthdays. We had a picnic and went on a hike and ate cupcakes. I can't believe that I've lived here for four years and never been.

the battle rages on

It's so odd that we can change this late. My family is in the process of moving from the mountains to the sea. My father lives in Savannah now. I got to see a glimpse of the new world of our lives while I was on spring break.

Gray Court

One of the best thing about being friends for so long is that you don't need to worry about formalities, and you can just get lost on adventures. Michel, Courtney, and I went on a random adventure on the first Sunday of spring break, to a cupcakes shop and a tiny town and to the fence at the edge of District 12 (where we actually do live, just perhaps a few centuries early)

These are some tidbits from my fourteenth roll on my Minolta. I have the fifteenth scanned in, so those will be coming soon. Some of these are of my desk in the room at my parents' house that has been redone. The coldness of the room scares me. Then there's Allie, Anikki, and my frozen yogurt cups. And finally, there are pictures of Courtney and Tori from when I drove to their school to hang out with them.

Orange Blossom Trail (sounds legit)

Whenever I visit my brother in Orlando, Addie visits me there. It's the best part of visiting him, because I love Addie to pieces, and it always breaks my heart that I don't get to see her more often.

This time, after we went to Winter Park and the mall and Downtown Disney, Addie spent the night, and we woke up for a coffee and picture date.

I spend so many days wishing she was closer.
